Why Read Knitting Journals?

Why another add me community?
Why a knitting add me community?

They help knitters gather knowledge about patterns and inspiration for future knitting plans. It also helps bring other knitters together. That is one of the most important things about knitting - a sense of community and camaraderie with other knitters. Knitting journals also help knitters keep track of knitting projects in a more interesting way than a notebook.

Hello! I think this community is a great idea, but I've noticed no one has joined! Have you tried promoting it yet? I'd be happy to join you in getting the word out.

Cool! :) I just submitted a post to community_promo. I'll also get the word out on my own journal, as well as some other knitting LJs. :)

quick mod question
May we tag our entries or should they be filed under memories?

Re: quick mod question
Either, or both - I guess use your judgement? Would you like to be made a mod?

It's so mod: coaster pattern
Hi,

I started knitting, again, last year and am loving it and I saw pictures of a coaster online that I would love to make but can't seem to find the pattern...it's the "It's So Mod: Coaster" by Knitty Gritty. I'm wondering if the pattern is still available and if so would anyone be able to send it or the link, please? My email address is barbhebert@gmail.com and I would so appreciate it. Thanks for your help.
